Plaintiff was a 45 year old single woman with no children. She
underwent minor throat surgery to help her breathing. Following surgery
she went into cardiac arrest and died. Our experts determined that she
died because she had a rare, undiagnosed tumor on her pituitary gland.
We were able to prove that proceeding with the surgery without first
diagnosing the tumor was negligent and directly caused the plaintiff's
death.
